Feb 27, Finally weekend....
This week has been a bit crazy weather wize. Last weekend is snowed so much and was so cold that the subway system shut down! Monday morning I had to walk half way to work, ca 20 minutes. To get home it was faster to walk the entire way from work. It is about a 45 minute walk, which is fine but not when it is -15 degrees C! You better walk fast!!! This craziness kept going on from last Friday till Tuesday of this week! And no functioning subway system...Entire Stockholm was stranded since about 700,000 people use the subway during each day during the week! Stockhol doesn't have a lot of people, maybe 1 million plus people....so then youmight realize what happens if the main way of transporting people is not functioning! It was a bit crazy!
Anyway, except for crazy weather, this past week I have been trying to get some work done in my bedroom but I realize how difficult it is to work, socialize, work out and then renovate when you get home. Conclusion: I need to cut out a few things for the next few weeks. Unfortunately I believe I need to cut down my social life. Alas, it is only temprorary though :)
Yesterday it all became very clear that bathroom renovation since the construction company was here for an inspection. So monday morning it starts and will go on for 8 weeks. After that the kitchen will be going on for another 6 weeks. At least that is what they say. I am not really concerned about not having a bathroom but I just can't figure out how to fit all my stuff in the middle of my living room so that the electrician can do the work he needs to do in the livingroom. I gotta do some Tetris in my livingroom night!
Last night after work I went to get my hair cut. I think I have found the best hair dresser ever! I go to this place called Studio-81, www.studio81.se. The a girl who does my hair is named Josefin. She is so fun to chat and last night we decided to do a fun hairdo. Fun fun fun since I was heading out to dinner afterwards with Nanny and Cillan at Impieriet.
