Can't always get what I want!

Just left the hospital and unfortunately the cancer indicator isn't showing the result one would have wanted......

When it all started close to a year ago it was 15, then it was 18-20, then 30 and prior to this treatment it was 44 and after this last treatment it was 40. It should be below 1!

So what does this mean!?
Well I'm not in the clear. Cancer is perhaps still in the system. It can take time for the indicator to go down after a treatment.

I knew already knew this was one of the scenarios which is why I haven't been able to really be that super excited about the spread not showing on the scans. Everyone else has been excited but I haven't been able to be just as excited. The indicator is the real factor deciding is I'm in the clear or not.

New blood work in about three months. If the numbers haven't gone done I need to do new scans gosh who knows what else.
But the doctor says I shouldn't put too much into this result. Overall it looks good since the spread is not showing any longer.

Except for that TSH values look good so changing/ lowering the levaxin dosage was good. But need to take more calcium tablets since those values aren't that great. Guess it can be due to the darkness that we have currently in this part of the world.

I will cry and be sad for a little bit. But life will go on.....there is nothing else I can do.
