I can't believe it has been nearly 3 weeks since midsummer?!!

The week of midsummer was a fantastic week! I had one of my oldest friends, Beth K, from my time in Chicago visiting.
And along with her came two fantastic friends, Sonja and Babette, from Munich that I got to know when they did their exchange year at IIT.

Through out the years the three of us has met up.
First time after moving home was 2009 when I went back to the US, then I believe it was December of 2009 or was it 2010 when I went to see Sonja and Babette in Munich, and then 2011 when we were a huge group of girl friends meeting up for a traditional German October fest in Munich. And now 2016, finally we got to meet here in Sweden! So exciting since we got to have a small reunion with the group since swedish friends Åsa and Anna-Karin could meet up.

Unfortunately I had problems with my phone and didn't take any pics so still waiting for pics...

No matter what, Stockholm and Sweden showed itself from its best side! Fantastic weather more or less the entire time.

For midsummer Åsa and I decided to give Sonja and Beth a very traditional Midsummer celebrarions and took them to Tyresö slott.
They both had their ideas of what it would be like and in so many ways I think we hit jack pot!

For dinner we were a little mixed group, just like US times. 2 swedes, 2 germans, 1 polish and 1 french person. Such a lovely time.

After a fantastic and lovely week together it was time to say goodbye and I hate saying good bye! And perhaps I find it even harder theses days considering I am not well. But we will see each other sooner than later. It is a must! I miss you all and it was so empty after you all left.
