Lethargic

It's been pretty quiet here as of late. I have been struggling with myself being so extremely tired, drained of energy, lethargic.

I haven't slept that well and every night I wake up at about the same hour, between 2-3 am and I am sweating like nothing else.

I have been trying to tell myself I just need the light that has been entering this northern part of the world so that the light can help me produce D-vitamin since I don't have functioning glands that can do that any longer.

But alas, some days I can barely get out of bed. It ended up with me staying home from work for 4 days just sleeping and resting for a full week some week ago. I decided at that time that I can't do the hours I am doing at work. Working 75% of full-time and having the work position I have is too much. So I decided to cut down to 50 %, no meetings and back of a bit in general but not sure how well it will work.

So at that time I talked to the nurse at Radiumhemmet and we discussed that I should decrease my hours but also do some blood work to see what my thyroid as well as D-vitamin values look like.

Today I got the answers, my T4 is 24 which is a bit high but my TSH is still 0,01 which is good. So due to T4 is a bit high one can get side effects such as:
Sweating
Tired/ lethargic
Muscles are broken down due
Weight loss
Don't sleep well/ sleep deprived
Inceased pulse
Irritation, close to tears all the time, nervous, anger
Swollen around the eyes
Shaking/ tremble due to substances in the nervesystem is increasing
Loosing hair, nails are frail
No period

Well there are more side effects but these are more or less my side effects where the lack of energymuscle break down, lack of sleep and sweating are the main ones.

So now I am just waiting for my doctor to finish analyzing my blood work. Still need to find out what my cancer marker says. It must have gone down, if not I am not sure what the heck they will do since that means that the cancer is lingering in my body.

I guess also the doctor will make change to my levaxin dosage so my T4 values can go down. But it might not be so easy bc it also needs to consider what my T3 values looks like. Thyroid medication plus the cancer is a tough one to get right.

Alas, right now I feel that this is what the rest of my life will look like. Great😡😡 Frustration overload since this is so not me!
